And, Lindsey threw a “pick-six” that probably saved “Mighty” ULALA from a most embarrassing loss @ Lafayette to “Mighty” FCS Nicholls State. And, did you notice “Mighty” Arkansas beat “Mighty” Texas 40 to 21?
and it was not a close as the score indicates...Arkansas man handled the players from the University of Texas @ Austin....hell the game ended with Arkansas on the Texas 15 yard line, taking knees so the score would look respectable for their new conference brothers....
True, does not augur well for soon to be new SEC member Texas to get the Hell beaten out of it by perennial SEC “doormat” Arkansas. :D And, ULALA’ s post-Covid year “reality check” continues. :D :) ;)

I just watched this game on replay! Everyone that I've talked to said the QBs put on a show. Good football! And this kid was special. He made a critical mistake, but was otherwise brilliant. 359 passing/121 rushing (70% comp) versus and FBS opponent. I'm glad we got Pratt, but I'm happy for this kid. As a football fan, he's really fun to watch. UL said it best:
UL coach Billy Napier called Nicholls QB Lindsey Scott Jr. "a magician" after he shredded the Ragin' Cajuns defense; the Colonels produced more than 500 yards of total offense, but the Cajuns held on for the win
https://twitter.com/TDARaginCajuns/stat ... 41572?s=20
Ragin' Cajun LB Kris Moncrief on Nicholls State QB Lindsey Scott:"That guy is an athlete. An elite athlete. I've got a lot of respect for him."
https://twitter.com/ScottMimic/status/1 ... 38308?s=20
Coach Billy Napier on Nicholls State being 9-16 on third down:"He (Lindsey Scott) did it with his legs but also did some really nice throws. His last touchdown, you talk about throwing it into a phone booth. We had the guy double covered and he threaded it right in there."

The ULALA defense gave up 500+ yards to a FCS team? And so, ULALA’ s post-Covid year “reality check” continues. :D

Might Lindsey be interested in our Offensive Coordinator position?

IDK, don't you think Lindsey🦨 kind of "jacked-over" our Wave more than a little bit? So, I believe a little Schadenfreude is quite understandable and even cathartic under the circunstances.😁

Instead, he’ll now be a Harvard Business School Case Study in poor decision-making.

My initial reaction would be "no way" WF should make that call. But then when I consider that our OL burned through three QBs last year, such that we could barely finish the season--well, maybe WF should make that phone call. Granted it's a "one and done" situation, but unless our OL is vastly improved, we may need somebody with Lindsey Scott's legs, just to get through the season with a viable QB. Beyond the beating that Pratt has taken, our two backup QB's have shown a concerning level of fragility.

Lindsey a FCS to FCS transfer, Nicholls St. to Incarnate Word. And, with Tom Brady retiring @ Tampa, makes no sense?🤦🏻‍♂️ :shakingno:

“Nicholls to Incarnate Word

The Southland Conference had elite quarterback play in 2021. SLU’s Cole Kelley and UIW’s Cameron Ward earned plenty of the headlines, but Nicholls’ Lindsey Scott Jr. was also dynamic. The All-Conference Honorable Mention selection threw for 2,083 yards, 16 TDs, and 11 interceptions and rushed for 990 yards and nine TDs. In the spring, Scott passed for 1,684 yards, 18 TDs, and seven interceptions in seven games. He also had 557 yards rushing and six TDs.

“Kelley is a 2022 NFL Draft prospect. And Ward transferred to Washington State, opening the door for a new starting QB. UIW, coming off of a playoff appearance and near win against the defending champs Sam Houston, landing in-conference transfer Scott is a huge get.” https://herosports.com/fcs-football-bes ... fers-bzbz/

And so, “the Saga of Lindsey Scott” continues. 😎

Oops, you spoke too soon.

Just went back to check, and this thread has been ongoing since Dec of 2015. Six+ years for someone who never played a down or attended a single class at Tulane.

True indeed, after this last season I thought we had finally “driven a stake” in the heart of ‘Ole Lindsey🧛🏾‍♀️⚰️, who turned 23 last June, for college eligibility for playing for the Wave but thanks to Covid 🦠 no 🎲🎲!!!

Incredibly Lindsey Scott still playing college FB. He’s QB for Incarnate Word and they lost on the last play of the game to SELA last night.

https://advocate-la.newsmemory.com/?pub ... 54_1348621
Eli Sawyer threw a 59-yard touchdown pass to CJ Turner as time expired to give Southeastern Louisiana a 41-35 victory over Incarnate Word on Saturday night in a Southland Conference opener.

No. 7 Incarnate Word (3-1, 0-1) had just taken a 35-34 lead with 21 seconds remaining when Lindsey Scott Jr. threw an 4-yard touchdown pass to Marquez Perez. Scott completed 27 of 38 passes for 333 yards and threw three touchdowns passes and an interception.
