He canned the wrestling coach that won state in 2021.
Andy Cannizaro
Different than Andy who in 4 seasons won only one playoff series.

Sounds to me like they've hired a Scott Cowen-type headmaster that's an athletics-hating academic.
"ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE! HANG EM AND BANG EM! HANG EM AND BANG EM!"-- Todd Graffagnini
Small world. This morning I went to Coquille park in Covington to watch my grandson play ball and on the field next to us I see Andy C on the diamond watching his son play. I walked over and had a long talk with Andy and he gave me the entire story. Boils down to two things. They offered him a contract in March for less money and he never signed it (still on his desk when he left) Second he was playing younger kids over the Jr's and Sr's and the parents complained to the Headmaster about paying $15K a year tuition for years only to have their son sit the bench now. He said he had a meeting with the new Headmaster that lasted all of 2 minutes in which he told Andy he was going in a different direction. Andy also mentioned the HC parents had a big fight in the stands amongst themselves because one kid was playing over the other. I guess that may have tipped the iceberg although that had nothing to do with Andy. Andy is doing well and was in good spirits and said he'll end up somewhere in baseball soon. He said unfortunately some people have a predisposed opinion of him based on what happened to him in the past.
He did nothing wrong here and ran a clean program. He had his New Orleans Knight’s shirt on.
He sent his congratulations to the GB’s for the Hall of Fame induction.

I don't think that is the case.RobertM320 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 8:23 am Sounds to me like they've hired a Scott Cowen-type headmaster that's an athletics-hating academic.

I wonda how many Tulane Prez's and board members allowed their pants to drop, or their skirts to raise, for someone who was not their spouse. I still remember Marilyn Monore signing happy birthday to Jack Kennedy at his party in MSG in NYC, while Jackie was back in DC, who the hell do you think Jack slept with that nite...the "party" was actually broadcast live for all of the world to see
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

Not to mention some faculty members who have exercised their non-taxable perk with a coed or two.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 7:58 amI wonda how many Tulane Prez's and board members allowed their pants to drop, or their skirts to raise, for someone who was not their spouse. Great to see that, thanks for posting, Tim.

Jay is doing an amazing job reaching out to alumni, fans/supporters, etc tor re-engage folks with the baseball program. The 2023 schedule is a definite upgrade, although somewhat limited in what he could schedule due to prior commitments, but our boys are going to rack up a lot of frequent flyer miles to some great venues.
