Thought I'd do a little digging on our boy GBG and his running prowess. How many times have we seen him toot that horn? Oh this is rich. The first two times that come up when Googling...

5k Times

2005 - 36.45 (11:49 pace)
2021 - 48:18 (15:27 pace)

   Senior Olympics? Really? Dude, that's a walking pace.

You are a freaking joke, you took times after I tore my quad tendons off of both kneecaps was recovering when many could not walk.

GB, that’s impressive by any means. Not to belittle you, what you did was👍. Hopefully it wasn’t as bogus as my wife’s metal that she got. She came in first at the Cancer Survivor Race in covington. The bogus part was her category was for 70 and older. She came in first but the only other over 70 was in a wheelchair being pushed by her daughter. No matter—she was out there!!!

In a 50 yard dash between Gene, Pat Ramsey, Tanner Lee and Kai Horton, my money would be on Mean Gene Bischoff.

I know what you are saying last year I won two golds in the 50- and 100-meter races. But not much competition, I don't discuss those.
But 3 weeks ago I beat a former college world class runner of 4.2 forty, take it we are older, but Lamar Smith is in great shape and I thought I had no chance of beating him, I dropped my weight from 215 to 205, that motivates me to drop to 190 or 185, will help me compete at a higher level. I also beat a former LSU running back, I can't remember his name but that was great greenie beating an ex LSU running back, I played nose tackle and defensive end in high school at 165 lbs, fastest lineman on the 1972 St. Bernard High Eagle Team. Here I beat a ex LSU running back and 4.2 forty college runner. Makes me wonder how good I could have been if I did not wait to go out for football until my senior season.
