Wish he got better coaching while here at Tulane. He'd have a better shot at playing in the NBA. I think he's going to play elsewhere, and that's a shame. He's a fine young man with a bright future regardless of his playing future.

Hopefully, wherever he lands, he won’t have to play center on defense.

Best of luck to Sion, he's a class act all the way. I hope he goes somewhere that truly unfolds his talent and leads him to the NBA. It wasn't happening under Hunter.

If true, I can accept that. He is gonna have a chance to win a championship and improve his draft stock. Just hate seeing him in another uniform

Congrats to Sion. He's going to play with perhaps the most highly touted and anticipated recruit Duke has ever had with incoming Freshman Cooper Flagg. I hope they both are in the NBA in 2025.

Sion was a class act who seemed frustrated by the lack of coaching. He'll have a good one at Duke. And a choice that will last a lifetime. I'm really happy for the young man who was a shining example of all things right in college athletics.

James excelled off the court in his four years at Tulane. He became the only AAC player to win the league’s sportsmanship award two years in a row, serving as the league’s student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) chair and Tulane’s SAAC co-president. He maintained a 3.79 GPA in legal studies in business. He will graduate May 17 with no regrets about choosing Tulane.

It’s the best place on Earth,” he said. “It’s the best school I could have chosen and institution I could have walked into. The most important thing are the relationships to me. I met people I will love and appreciate for the rest of my life.”
What a great Tulanian and exceptional man. I wish him all of the best at Duke.

Same here, best of luck. It will be interesting to see how much he can improve with better coaching. The one thing that could be detrimental is his 3 point shooting. He was much better this year, but can he sustain it. Duke guards live off the 3. I don’t know about the fit. I always think of him as guard in a Tom Izzo Michigan State type of offense. But kudos to him, I hope he makes that leap into the NBA.

He made the right decision which isn't a surprise when it comes to him and how mature he is. This gives him an opportunity to get top flight coaching that will give him a chance to really improve his all around game and maybe get a chance to play professionally. Hope it all works out. Going to be fun to follow him next year.
