UTSA is a lot like us. Up and down team

They did beat ECU 2/3 so clearly they have some talent

We need to win this home conference series

UTSA has been a good hitting team. They are poor pitching and fielding. Need to win this series.

4-1, top of 8th. Hitting has been nonexistent. Very disappointing effort so far.

Glad I do not waste my time going to watch a sandlot team. Have not been to a game in over two years and do not miss it. It is torcher enough following game tracker.

Tuft hit a 2 run homer with 2 outs bottom of 9th. Banks then K’d to end it.

Could have been worse but their 3rd base coach sucks and cost them 2 runs. With what they have left pitching wise there's no reason not to win the next 2 and win the series.

"we stink again" - SMDH! Baseball is not a "great" team, middle of the road maybe, but far from "stink"! A real head scratcher here, trying to understand that comment. Simple terms - we are more than half full at this point.

Using that logic, did winning 7 games in a row make the team a "great team"?

Since you haven't been watching, I guess that's why you don't realize that they won 15 of 26 so far and 7 in a row. Not bad for a "sandlot team". Imagine how bad all those other teams must be.

Glad he stays home actually! Don't need his type of "fire" in the seats out there.

They are better than last year. No doubt about it but how much better. An average pitcher baffles us. We have 2 decent starters and that’s it. Our relievers are good for an inning before they are dialed in by the hitters. The assistant coaches are very inexperienced and it shows up every game. Players and coaches are both learning the game.

a quick tutorial for coaches and players
distance between each base is 90 feet....distance from pitching rubber to homeplate 60 feet 6 inches....the "chalk" line running from home plate to the outfield is actually the "fair line' if a ball hits the chalk, it is fair, not foul, same for the "poles" at the edges of the outfiled wall.....when batting, 3 strikes and U are out and four balls and you are awarded first base...the ball and bat are both round, but it is best for them to meet squarely

Roadrunners with 4 in the first. They are crushing the ball. We answer with 1 in the bottom half.

Hey Engineer, looks like sandlot to me. The ace of the staff getting roughed up and the team winging the ball around. Down 6-1 and looking sloppy!

I thought you sropped watching. Maybe you should if you don't like what you're seeing and think it's sandlot level.
