The game is tomorrow night at 6:30. it will be on ESPN+. They have a good record but have played a really weak schedule. Lost a DH to SELA yesterday.

Wave hitting it hard, but if you get it in the air at all, it hangs and gets caught.

Tulane hitters really tagging some of these balls and they just hang in the wind.

So, the answer is to BUNT Marget and you score on the squeeze! How about that. Good win…3-hit a good hitting ball club.

Nice start by Lombardi. Clearly better than Saum. Hopefully being focused on just pitching is helping him. Will be interesting to see how he does in a step up in competition against USM next week.

When making comments on pitchers remember different opposition, all you can guage with accuracy is control and hitting the strike zone consistently. How good a hitting team is St. Louis???

I agree, is the pitcher hitting 'his spots", is he limiting the number of pitches called "balls"...I went to the Texas Tech - Baylor game on Saturday...many pitches thrown in the mid 90's...too bad they were in a different zip code, then where home plate was located.... poor mechanics, terrible arm slot release points, zero follow thru on deliveries, ( something they need to learn from Amazon Prime )..it was the college take of "Money Ball" make the pitchers throw lots of pitches and get people on base via the walk ....
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

your quote above is correct unless it is used out of context to justify Saum, whose pitches have no movement and are easily tracked.

That's why I specifically said let's see what he does when he takes a step up in competition next week against USM. St. Louis has a high batting average but has played a weak schedule and there was a strong wind blowing in last night.
