Classes start today, but I think there's a couple of more days before the cutoff.

EDIT: Last day to register/add is Friday, Jan 26th.

This is starting to get crazy. Time to wear a retro SEC patch on our jerseys cause we're recruiting like we belong!

This should be in an Recruiting (HS) thread. Excited to see a highly ranked recruit on campus, hope he falls in love with the program and helps recruit others.

I read on Facebook that Jared Small has entered the transfer portal. Very steady player so sad to see he may be leaving.

Something doesn’t add up with the 4 stars ⭐️ plus they still have Willie Fritz as coach.

It just shows that this On3 is waaayyy behind the curve when it comes to new developments, recruits and transfers. It will be interesting to see what they show in a month or two.

This was their update on 1/17/2024, includes all our signings!!!

As far as 5 Stars you guys post about are not composite 5 Star players. Because one scout lists a player as 5 Star that does not make it so. Thompson is a composite 4 Star from High School and a composite 3 Star transfer player because he was a backup for 3 years at Oregon and replaced by 3 Portal Quarterbacks, thus he is no longer 4 or 5 star. These are good players better then we have ever recruited and signed but drop off this 5 star references LSU and Alabama may get a couple of true 5 star players a year. Mostly 4 Star.

Hell, our own athletic website doesn't even have up to date on the coaching staff.

Further proof that David Harris needs to clean house.

Seems like he was originally at South Carolina before he spent two years at WKU. NOTE; ZERO SACKS!!

You can sort of understand the recruiting rankings. The market for Thompson, Williams, and Shazz was not the same as it was out of high school. Thompson was never a starter in 3 years. Williams did not play well this past year. And Shazz was 3rd team in his 2nd year. These three guys have a lot to prove. All 3 are talented players, but not playing much at all clearly questions their high school rankings. It is going to be interesting to see if they flourish in New Orleans under Coach Sumrall. And I like the gamble one way or the other.
