We better be well conditioned. 2:30pm in early September? Now, if we can just decide to renovate the visitor locker rooms that week and make the Ole Miss players use a small meeting room for a locker room.
"That mantra is the only consistent thing that never needs to ever change for the rest of this program’s existence because that is all that matters & as long as that keeps occurring, everything will handle itself" -- Nick Anderson
When you say we, are you talking about our team or us fans in the seats? Same time as our first home game and it was quite a hot experience.RobertM320 wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 1:59 pm We better be well conditioned. 2:30pm in early September? I was referring to the team, but it applies to us as well.

That's a shame that the Ole Miss and USM games are at those times. Was hoping for night for both of those.

I really wish the University would tell ESPN: "For the safety of our fans and our Athletes, we will not play day games in September."
" If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day.." Jimmy V
Wow, tell ESPN really, sounds like crying we are not the only hot weather city. I run at 68 years old in those temperatures, sorry, personal what do you mean safety of the athletes, go to the Senior Games and see how many Seniors running in temperatures into the 90's. I will be running Westfeldt if we beat Ole Miss, then running straight to the Boot to celebrate a win!!! I understand some fans are not use to heat but the athletes are well accustomed to those temperatures.

Wouldn't it be a shame if the AC broke in the Ole Miss locker room. I'm sure coach Fritz would be willing to help them out after the accommodations they made for us during the rain storm in 2021.

We really should at least switch sidelines and let the opponents bake more in and face the sun.

Could do that but the team is well taken care of with demisters and hydrated. Will always have IV's available during summer games as some athletes will need them.NOLABigSteve wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 8:50 pm We really should at least switch sidelines and let the opponents bake more in and face the sun.
I put that on the season ending survey.NOLABigSteve wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 8:50 pm We really should at least switch sidelines and let the opponents bake more in and face the sun.
