LSU has struggled against lefties:

https://www.nola.com/sports/lsu/lsus-hi ... e1651.html

The question is how much Carmouche will have in the tank after last weekend. He threw 108 pitches on Thursday and came back on Sunday to throw 52 more. Now he'll throw on two days less rest than usual after all of that load. If he bounces back we have a chance.

Some guys actually thrive on more pitches. Lets hope.

Going to be much tougher now. OSU losing two starting pitchers had alot to do with this decision

I thought the SEC was such a great conference? You would think the whole conference had quality pitchers, right? So how has LSU as a team been HBP 121 times? One guy has been hit 26 times.

Makes you wonder if they're taught to lean into pitches.

Would it be wrong to just walk Dylan Crews any time he comes to bat with a runner on base?

They are starting to put the bat on the ball, if they can just limit LSUs scoring.

LSU with the first two men on base in each of the first five innings. On top of that, the two times we actually had a man on and hit the ball hard, they turned them into two lucky double plays. I think we used up all our luck last weekend.

Uhlman being Uhlman. Lombardi strikes out the best hitter in the country and he takes him out.

Absolutely horrible decision there. He’ll probably be the first to admit it.
Lucky LSU pitched Skenes I wasn’t impressed at all outside of him. But they have the easiest regional and super lined up to get to Omaha

He'll hide behind the book. Then he yells at Prigge who had no business being in there. He's just a terrible coach. Really looking forward to another season of horrible baseball next year.

I get the match-up lefty deal but you need to have a guaranteed strike thrower or let him at least face that one hitter. I can only imagine had Banks made it 6-5 how bad that would look. Stay with the hot hand there.

No doubt. The kid was on fire. A good coach knows when to ignore the book. Especially since he'd already got him out earlier.

It's ridiculous to beat up on anyone in this game. We faced the best pitcher in college baseball in their park. LSU was top ranked all year for a reason. They are better than us.. If we are going to find a way to beat them, it's not against Skenes. Coach Uhlman used freshman pitchers to save arms, as he should have. They literally bounced all their pitches. Let's just re-group and move on.
