The game will be tonight. We used up Castro and Welch so we'll be wholesaffing it. Need someone to step up with a surprising outing.

Must win games are not whole staffing. If someone is hot they stay in; This is not a mid week game. Have to have arms if they advance, don't be surprise if Carmouche is not on the mound.

That is how wholestaffing works. If you put someone in and they are hot you stick with him. As to Carmouche it would be criminal to throw him.

We should literally have everyone available except Castro, Welch and Carmouche. Gavin Smith pitched 1 batter on Tuesday plus today's outing, and Fowler pitched one inning on Tuesday. No one else has pitched at all.

10-7 only 4th ECU up
Everyone out of pitchers. The hitters going to win it for you now.

You know its bad when ECU still has their starter in after 4 innings, despite him giving up 8 hits and 7 runs, with 2 HRs. Those two extra inning games are taking their toll now.

Looks like ECU in the finals. Up 14-7 bottom of the 8th and still batting.

Up 5-1 now, still in the 3rd. Bases loaded no outs. Houston just went to Justin Murray, their first baseman, who they use a lot as a closer and in special situations. From here on out, their pitcher has to bat or be PH for.

Silly question- It seems that Tulane has been the visitor in every game of the tourny. Is that because of their low seeding?

Yes, lower seed is always the home team. Only team we would have been home team against would have been USF, if we were to have run into them tomorrow. But they're gone.

the higher seed has a lower number assigned... the lower seed that has a higher number assigned....must be one of those "new math" equations at work...

Roll Wave!!! This team can be proud of fighting hard and not giving up in a very forgettable season. With the conference not being very good this year, they picked a good year to be pretty bad and still be competitive. Some here won't like any success because they want blood, but the team stuck together and did the best with what they had.

Have to give to them. I thought it would be possible but not likely. ECU is in already maybe they save their best pitching for the regionals.

Any idea who we have to start tomorrow?

Possibly an inning or two from Carmouche?
