The Scott Cowen Institute has announced that the former Tulane president has donated a sizable but undisclosed amount toward updating the Tulane campus with an emphasis on technology and sports.

A couple of the projects include self-driving people movers which will shuttle students safely about the campus. Also included in the funds was a reported eight-figure sum which is to be earmarked toward the creation of a new basketball arena. Location of the arena has not been announced but unconfirmed reports are that Dinwiddle Hall will be demolished to make room for the new facility. The report also hints that a portion of Gibson Hall may have to be bulldozed to permit the work. It is assumed that the new arena will be named Cowen Court. Cowen was quoted as stating that the facility upgrade was necessary to satisfy requirements for SEC entrance consideration.

Here's a photo of one of the twenty new people movers which will be installed on campus beginning later this year. Hopefully work will be completed by the beginning of football season.
