Hawaii Sweeps Tulane
Hawaii was picked 6th in the 11 team Big West. They have an RPI of 154 . The games are at 11:35 pm on both Friday and Saturday. Both of those are listed as being on ESPN+. Hawaii's site says they will be on spectrum sports. The Sunday game is at 6:o5 pm and it doesn't appear it will be televised.

Yeah 1135 will be too late for me lol. Sucks because I was really looking forward to this series.winwave wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 6:51 pm Hawaii was picked 6th in the 11 team Big West. You can watch it anytime after it’s over. I plan on watching it Saturday morning. I won’t check for the score and will pretend it’s live when watching. It will be under the “On Demand” tap once it’s over on ESPN+

If they ever return the favor and come here, we should reward them with 11am start times on Saturday and Sunday. That would be 4am for themgreenie78 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 5:00 amYeah 1135 will be too late for me lol. I went to bed in the 6th it was 0-0 and Tulane was hitless. Just watched the last 3 innings. We ended up with only 3 hits for the game including 1 solo Hr. Hawaii had a 3 run inning to go up 3-0. We came back with a solo Hr to make it 3-1. And that’s how it ended. No run support again for DC as he takes another loss to go 0-5 on the year. We struck out a lot again last night. Overall it was a fast and well pitched game by both sides. Even with the loss it looks like we continue to improve. Hawaii looked solid. It will be tough to win a game out there.

No problem. Here’s a game story from Hawaii:
We struck out 12 times last night.
.We have 33 regular season games remaining. So we’ll need to win 14 of those 33 to get 20 wins.

Thanks!!! That's exactly what I did early this morning.
Same here! Went to bed when it was 0-0 after 6 innings. Picked it back up this morning. Probably do the same tonight.greenie78 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 10:14 amThanks!!! That's exactly what I did early this morning.

I started the game around 5am. The game moved by fast.
The 6th inning was the turning point on a bad call. The guy for Hawaii was clearly picked off at 2nd base. If the umps make the correct call, the Wave escape that inning without any runs allowed. Hawaii later scored their 3 runs that inning.

Yes. Even on replay he looked out. Had he been called out I believe it would have stood.greenie78 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 11:17 am I started the game around 5am. The game moved by fast.

FIRE this "coaching staff (?)", when the plane hits the runway @ MSY.....I read somewhere that the first year coach needs time "to get to know his players"...sey what !...this "coach, is the same "coach" that 'coached" them last year to failure...so we expect different results this year ?

Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

This is probably the worst Tulane Athletic team I have ever seen. There is no reason to continue to follow this mess.

13-for-91. (.143 avg.) for the weekend series. Linn and Banks have regressed significantly under this coach’s “tutelage.”
Note that Hawaii had given up 44 runs and 53 hits in a 4-game series with UConn just two weeks ago at home. UConn won 3 out of 4.
We were teased by that odd win at Washington. We all know we have serious problems here.
