Read on Facebook that Graf will be calling the game on Friday. I’ll be listening.

Hopefully he’s also on the ESPN+ Broadcast as well.

it's the Penn & Teller show
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
And please don’t tell me that there are plenty of games remaining and the we can still “turn this thing around!” 2-13 is an embarrassment to this program . Uhlman is NOT qualified to lead this team.
'Here's a song for the Olive and the Blue"
I watched it on tv last night and our approach to hitting looks like something out of NORD.
We cannot have another 1st time head coach learning on the job. He is in over his head. How embarrassing that we are going to retire Rick Jones' number this year with this shit-show. Maybe he will come out of retirement.

Tulane baseball has followed the path of Rice. Once Graham retired there was a de-emphasis on baseball and it shows. I feel the same has happened to Tulane when they decided to hire Jewett. There’s no urgency to fix this mess just kick the can down the road until the stands are almost completely empty (less the parents, diehards and staffers). It’s amazing how far the program has fallen from 2005 CWS days. I find it difficult to attend and even watch on ESPN+ when I don’t make it out there. Worst baseball I’ve seen at Tulane in my lifetime.
Agree, players digressing every year, Banks and Linn have digressed badly from a year ago. Good coaches develop players, don't see that happening lst with Jewett now with Ulhman.Show Me wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 10:32 am Tulane baseball has followed the path of Rice. Nothing changes. Down 3-0 in the 3rd, we open the inning with a HR, a single and a double, and have the tying runs on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. The next two batters strike out, and a ground out ends the inning. Once again, we can't put a bat on the ball in scoring situations.

Team played better in the second half of to ight’s game..
Welch and Lombardi pitched some good innings.
Banks, Schulz and Baumgardt made good defensive plays.
We got lucky with a couple of Penn misplays in the outfield.
Team accrued 15 hits tonight.
Banks homered, tried and singled.
Hopefully, he’s coming around.
Jones replica jerseys was a great idea.
Giving out many jerseys to students who walked up for the jersey then left before first pitch was not cool.
I just don’t know how you could prevent that.
Anyway, we’re on a one game winning streak, so we have something for which to be happy!

We did the one thing I have been screaming about for 6 years. We bunted the ball, moving runners and forcing the opponent to field the ball. We can pitch when it counts, the strikeouts are alarming though. I will say when they were down 3-0 in a hurry they didn't fold.

Tulane loses game 3 13-10. Scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th. Lost the series.

6-4-23: Now all of the mistakes Tulane has made finally catches up with them as they descend to CUSAAC. We can only hope for a miracle.

Amazing how you get guys off the bench that show they want to play. Ebling, Laprairie, Mitchem and Morrow all got hits in the 9th. I realize it may not have been against Penn’s better pitching but, at least these guys are up there swinging and making good contact.
Sorry folks, I had planned on venturing from the Northshore for good baseball by the Wave this year. But those prospects are dim as I continue to see players shine as freshman but get worse in their careers at Tulane. Looks like the problem is not getting good players it's the lack of development as their careers advance. To be on conference all freshman teams and never hear much from them after is plain and simple poor coaching. Banks, Linn and remember Bennett Lee.
