The only thing I'd point out is that Canady got hurt late in the season. He's really good and I hope he's back at full speed for the beginning of the season but I doubt it. Hampton is a good pick up especially if that's the case.

It is great to hear that our cover zero db's are showing up. My concern for the defense is at d-line. Last season we played a yard off the LOS. It was easy compared to an aggressive reactive two gap.
Learning a two gap is difficult. It requires outstanding coaching under live good-on-good drills & scrimmages.
I hope our defensive staff is up to the challenge.
I think that we will have the ability to pull it off with the right players.

As per Tulane the scrimmage is supposed to start at 10:45. It will be 4 quarters but each quarter will only be 7:30 minutes. I likely won't be able to make any of it. My daughter has a game this morning. Both were originally scheduled for 10. Her game has been moved up an hour and the scrimmage was pushed back 45 minutes. Thought her game might get canceled as we were supposed to get some heavy rain over night but that didn't happen. Now hoping for a pitchers duel. Might be able to get there for part of the second half.

This might be gotula.net's biggest loss since UCF in regular season. Winwave, your reports from the spring game are legendary, giving as much info as anyone who was there could possibly get.

gbg: I challenge you to write up a winwave-like report. That means telling us who came out on both sides of the ball each possession and basically a play by play. Good luck!
