Sounds like a good hire, if Peyton does not pull him to Denver. Peyton had confidence in him, Saints running issues this season was because of QB issues. Has been a longtime assistant coach.

He was previously the tight ends coach and running backs coach for the Saints and, before that, the offensive coordinator at Michigan State. Roushar has served as an assistant coach with several teams, beginning in 1986 as the offensive backfield coach with Butler. He formerly held the offensive coordinator position at Butler, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Illinois, and offensive line coach at Cincinnati.[3]

His recruiting ability will be an unknown since he’s been in pro ball for so long. But as far as coaching abilities he’s probably the best available.

Tim , maybe being a nfl coach will be appealing to guys who want to go to the nfl. That’s what it’s more about today. The student/athlete is passé

[b]From his head coach at Cincinnati and Michigan St.
Dantonio said. "He's a tremendous offensive line coach because he's such a meticulous teacher. He has a great rapport with his players because he pushes and challenges them to reach their full potential.
"Dan has great knowledge of the game, having previously served as an offensive coordinator for three different programs. He's also quite familiar with the Big Ten, with two coaching stints at Illinois."

I like it! Think he will definitely coach up an experienced line and make it even better.

Haynesworth for sure should be a Rimington award candidate next season.
