And if you believe this, I’ve got a couple tickets to Ponchartrain Beach for sale. Good Photoshop rendering though.
Definitely in talks

On Monday, Carl Reed of 247Sports reported that Sanders is already earning interest prior to the conclusion of the college football season. According to Reed, Sanders has engaged in talks with 'power brokers' at Colorado (PAC-12) and USF (AAC).
Both programs are in need of a rebuild but Sanders has shown that he can get talent to follow him.

In his introductory press conference when asked about QB he asked his son to stand up. He then said "You're looking at your quarterback."

The novelty of Prime will wear thin as the air in Colorado...no media, no prime time East or Central time zone games....zero high profile high school football ...ole Colorado better have one hell of a deep "slush-nil fund "....

What Colorado really needs is for the PAC10 to make a significant move into the CTZ and be podded with 3 CTZ schools. That would get Colorado back into the Texas and even Louisiana recruiting market, where they did quite well when they were in the Big 8/12. Otherwise, they'll stay in limbo and recruiting hell, just like Nebraska.

Yes sir...once Oklahoma bitched and moaned about Nebraska's famed "walk on thru the country ride" program...Nebraksa fell off the ncaa football radar.... once those county rides had to be counted against the yearly grant in aide, they were in deep trouble....NU was so pizzed at OU, they fled to the big10....also in my opinion, Prime would have been great get for Cincy or now L'VilleHoustonWave wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 12:12 pmWhat Colorado really needs is for the PAC10 to make a significant move into the CTZ and be podded with 3 CTZ schools. No doubt Prime Time would be a much better fit at Louisville. The Colorado tea-and-crumpet crowd will start to wince once Deion starts laying his no bs, just the facts ma'am, lingo on the politically correct Buff crowd.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 12:21 pmYes sir...once Oklahoma bitched and moaned about Nebraska's famed "walk on thru the country ride" program...Nebraksa fell off the ncaa football radar.... once those county rides had to be counted against the yearly grant in aide, they were in deep trouble....NU was so pizzed at OU, they fled to the big10....also in my opinion, Prime would have been great get for Cincy or now L'VilleHoustonWave wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 12:12 pmWhat Colorado really needs is for the PAC10 to make a significant move into the CTZ and be podded with 3 CTZ schools. Deion was able to get Colorado to change its academic standards in order for him to get players.

University of Colorado chancellor Phil Distefano announced Sunday that the institution will be updating its transfer credit review process, making it easier for students to transfer to the campus in Boulder.
“We're working to give coach and all of his student-athletes the skills they need to succeed," Distefano said. "This new initiative combined with the NIL collective and our existing resources for student-athletes will set our football team up for long term success."

I don't think I understand how lowering academic standards can be interpreted as "skills" they need to succeed. It seems that Colorado officials are running a university but do not know the meaning of a basic word like "skill".

The skill for Deion is recruiting players intent on making millions on NIL and in the NFL.anEngineer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 8:09 am I don't think I understand how lowering academic standards can be interpreted as "skills" they need to succeed. A smart move by CU. They recognize that their policies regarding approx. 300 athletes will have nothing to do with their academic reputation--as established by thousands of other students and alums.tpstulane wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 9:49 pm Deion was able to get Colorado to change its academic standards in order for him to get players.

Right. and they are giving many of those student athletes a chance at an education they otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Just like coaches develop the players they take in the school should strive to develop the students they take in.NOLABigSteve wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 12:31 pmEveryone should read this. 100% yes to the three previous quotes. Also, don’t underestimate Coach D. He’s been defying expectations at every level of competition.winwave wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 12:48 pmRight. and they are giving many of those student athletes a chance at an education they otherwise wouldn't have gotten. They're playing the game, going all in, and announcing it to the public. Most of us would die to hear Gibson Hall make such a statement. Use the Cotton Bowl as the platform for doing so.
