Watching in person at Yulman I had about 4 text messages immediately after that play from high IQ FB fans all said it was a catch.
Bizzare how an official 30 yards away can get in the way of excellence and take away a spectacular catch like that. Easily would have been the ESPN “Play of the Day” had the correct call be made.
Absolutely a shame for our guy and another pitiful call by an official getting in the way of an excellent play while calling our game.

If I remember correctly, the ruling wasn't that he didn't get his foot in bounds (he clearly did), it was that on the way down to the ground the ball still wasn't secure. I still think it was a catch.

U are correct...it had nothing to do with the foot, but was the ball secureRobertM320 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 7:57 am If I remember correctly, the ruling wasn't that he didn't get his foot in bounds (he clearly did), it was that on the way down to the ground the ball still wasn't secure. Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
