If our OL can hold their own against KState, not only does it give us a real shot at winning the game, but even better it would portend success with the rest of the schedule.
Tulane is the University of Louisiana

I've been a Green Wave fan long enough not to drink the Kool-Aid.
Tulane 13
KSU 51
Show Me Something to make me believe a Willie Fritz team can play 60 minutes of top quality football and I'll be ready for a competitive game. Our beloved Wave will be outcoached and probably give up points on offense and special teams as well.
I hope I'm wrong.

There is no way there were 50,000 people at that game last week. The weather was terrible and there were LOTS of empty seats.Show Me wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 7:17 pm 41-17 here

Tulane is 2-0 for the first time in forever. It has an interesting opponent that is getting votes for the top 25. Fans are paying attention. The local media is actually covering the game. Tulane has a chance to start regaining its fan base and media attention. What could possibly go wrong,

Tulane with two decisive wins (albeit with weak opponents); local media showing mild but increasing coverage; local fans beginning to ask me "what's up with Tulane?"; chance to make a splash and bring a lot more fans to a winnable game 4 against USM; opportunity to win and receive a couple of top-25 votes; hard core fans hoping for that 'breakthrough win' against a superior P5 opponent... what could possibly go wrong?
Agree just because Kansas St. is in the big 12 means nothing, their recruiting in recent years is no better then Willie Fritz recruiting classes. If fact as Coach said they recruit the same players. We out recruited them for Spears. On paper we are fairly equal thats why the odds are down to 13 pt. now. See the naysayers never us data, like I did with size, shooting hot air that they are bigger but they are not. We are equal folks check recruiting!!!~winwave wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 2:54 pm Tulane is 2-0 for the first time in forever. It has an interesting opponent that is getting votes for the top 25. I am not willing to say they will be outcoached. Wave is 3-34 as a dog in Fritz' tenure. And that includes games where we may have only been a 2 or 3 point dog. Its just not in Fritz' DNA to pull an upset.
