Preseason ratings are for losers, not where you start its where you end the year. Rattler of Oklahoma was in the top 5 and a Heismann Candidate, now he is gone. Case closed!!! Dream on fellows, lol

Calling out the bias of all of you and the reason, I came out in support of Kai because all the bias that Pratt had from day one with less credentials as Kai. Kai has been downplayey by you guys the minute we signed him facts are facts. Pratt was put on a pedestal not today but from the very beginning while Kai was ignored with more accomplisments.
Kai rated the #27 Pro Passer in the country by 247 Sports not one person except me brought that up. This proves that ratings do not always translate into results!
In comparison Pratt was rated the #47 rated Pro Quarterback coming out of high school. I love proving your bias with facts!!!

From Greenwave.com Official Website profile of Pratt vs Horton High School Careers:
Michael Pratt: Prior to Tulane: Earned a three-star rating from 247sports.com and rivals.com… Led Deerfield Beach to the Florida High School Class 8A Semifinals in the 2019 season… Transferred from Boca Raton High School before the 2019 school year… Logged for 158 yards and two touchdowns passing and one rushing touchdown in the Class 8A regional semifinal.

Kai Horton: Prior to Tulane: Received a three-star rating by 247Sports.com…Rated as the 27th-best pro style quarterback in the nation by 247Sports.com…Was ranked as the 127th -best prospect in the state of Texas…Widely regarded as one of the top under the radar quarterbacks…Posted a breakout junior season and led Carthage to the Texas High School 4A State Championship for the first time since 2008…During his junior campaign, he completed 61 percent of his passing attempts for 3,741 yards, 49 touchdowns and just six interceptions…As a senior, he led Carthage back to the Texas High School 4A State Championship and a second consecutive title.

So even the Coaches and Athletic Dept. had Horton rated higher than Pratt!!!

What's the difference between High School football and FBS football? Pratt has shown he can play FBS football, Kai Horton HAS NOT.

gb,
Beyond the high school stats that are meaningless, you keep citing one example, Rattler at OU, as to how a perceived starter failed—but what about the other 100+ FBS programs where the perceived starter continued to start throughout the season? You keep serving up an example of ONE, as proof of why Pratt shouldn’t be our starting QB next month—that convinces nobody. I’m a Horton supporter, and I hope he lives up to all your hype—but if he does, it will be down the road, Pratt is clearly the established QB for now. Despite Fritz’s tenure bias, he has shown a willingness to pull QBs that aren’t getting it done—either Pratt will perform as expected or Ibieta or Horton will get an opportunity to show what they can do. In the meantime forget the Rattler story, it has nothing to do with Tulane football.
