It will be interesting to see how he does there. He had his one breakout season here. Lee did the same thing and then came back down to earth this past season.

I know that section of stands! That's where Jake Rogers hit his HR in the Oxford Regional.

As of yesterday, Groff continues to be the most successful portal transfer from Tulane individually. His team, however, is 2-10 in the SEC.
Groff is hitting .345 with 37 runs, 5HR, 35 RBI. He has stolen 11 bases.

Bennett Lee is basically a back up at Wake, hitting .227 and has played in only 16 games.

Michael Massey, also at Wake, has had the most success on the mound appearing in 11 games, 10 in relief. He has a 3.20 ERA, a 2-0 record, walked only 7 and K’d 36 in 19.2 innings.

Grant Siegel has had 7 starts at West Va., is 2-2, but has a 7.09 ERA.

Zach DeVito has only 6 appearances, pitched 6.2 innings and has an 8.10 ERA at Georgia.

You all can determine who might have made the “wrong move” to enter the portal but, then again, would they have been that much better had they stayed?

Thanks for your research. Groff playing in the SEC will also help his draft status. He and Massey would have helped but not sure about the others.
