Someone on this board would have passed out if it was the other one.

Who needs Manning as deep as our quarterback room is. The main thing is for the new coaching staff to keep competion open making each one better. Don't name a starter until two weeks before opening game.. But let them know if one falters they will not hesititate to move to next man in a heartbeat!!! That is how winning programs are made competition, no lineup set in stone. Oklahoma booted their Heisman QB out the door!!!

Arch would be the starter from day 1, and probably launch an investigation into recruiting practices while breaking the NIL piggy bank. Please spare me any HS statistical analysis, it's meaningless Mrs. Horton.

That's what they said of Rattler at Oklahoma, lol now he is gone and still may not play. Hype is not performance, just like Pratt Rattler was athletic but unpredictable gave his line hell to block and confusing to receivers running routes. Wake up so called experts that never played a down at QB!!! We gave Rattler fits, lol Heisman ha ha!!!

Rattler, who was the No. 29 recruit in the 2019 ESPN 300, carried much of the same expectations when he chose Oklahoma -- over USC -- after breaking Arizona's state passing record, throwing for more than 11,000 yards with 116 TDs. Hype no performance.

Then doesn't "hype no performance" apply to Horton? You've been hyping him for 18 months now, but no special performance.

Not always decommits, Willie said he had this week to recruit, means he is letting some former commits go and catching bigger recruits with our record. He sees he can get better recruits than the ones already committed.
He was a weak 3 star recruit from the east coast with no big offers. Got a phone call from Willie!

Take a look at who we play next year and tell me it excites you, then ask yourself whether you are willing to pony up significant NIL money to keep those decommits who have offers from P5 schools.

Surely not sexy but USM and USA will be tough outs. Ole Miss at home is a nice, winnable SEC matchup. Not sure what there is to complain about. Replace USA with App St or a low-level p5 like GT and it's a pretty perfect schedule. At least USA is regional and will help fill Yulman.

Yes. Big loss here. Plus the RB from NOLA even bigger loss. Need NIL money and fast.

If USM and USA are tough outs we got serious problems.

We should beat USM and USA but both have good young coaches. USA has improved a lot the last two seasons and almost won at UCLA. And they invest in their athletics with having an indoor practice facility, and really nice on campus football and basketball stadiums. And frankly those schools will be in a tougher football conference next season which is why the Wave need to keep winning and get to a bigger conference.
