SMU's latest signee with his NIL payoff? He was a 3 star, only worthy of a Ford Mustang, or is that the standard SMU Mustang recruit ride? He had offers from Wash St., Colo St., UH, North Texas and Tulane.

Our nil collective should really bring some folks in for more outreach with alums, players, agents and local businesses.

Bringing in a New Orleans car dealership shouldn’t be very difficult, also the amount of money to “give” a player a car (its just a special type of lease) is tiny. But the headlines are powerful and it shows the program means business.

Board member Benson can offer offer more than a car, yes she owns a dealership but she is the richest person in La.
