4 of the 5 in the AAC and Tulane will be in the "UpTown 1" conference ..the Southern Sun Conference rejected their application
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

Big investment announcements lead the way:
Moving to the AAC requires a much larger investment in that. After the AAC added the six schools — UAB, Florida Atlantic, Charlotte, North Texas, Rice and UTSA — many of them immediately announced fundraising initiatives, because there’s ground that must be made up to compete on a daily basis.

The idea of the AAC going big with C-USA schools didn’t get on my radar or the radar of many others until late in the process. UAB was going to get the invite, there was no doubt there. Most of the other schools were all kind of in the same bucket. Ultimately, the ability to go big and add more game inventory while giving new schools a smaller payout for a period of time was the move to make everyone happy in the AAC.

Under Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum’s leadership, Tulane continues its march toward irrelevance.

You're right Jaxman--I should have said "further into irrelevance".
