Per guerrey- Tulane has secured a bye for the tourney(first time ever). Either as 4 seed or 5 seed and they’ll play either temple or Ucf. Both beatable teams. I assume we would prefer to face Ucf as we just handled them. I know they had a couple of big injuries, not sure if they will have anyone back.

For two months we've known our only way into the NCAA Tournament is to win the AAC tournament. We would be playing Houston in the Semi Finals, and probably SMU (or Memphis) in the finals. We're 1-3 versus those teams, the lone win versus a depleted Memphis team to start the AAC season. So we'd need to beat a Temple team that's every bit as good as we are then have two big upsets. I don't think it matters if we play Houston in the Semis or Finals, we'd be significant underdogs against any probably opponent if we're fortunate enough to win our first game.

One game at a time. I will say we stuck with both SMU and Houston and could have beaten both. Memphis we have beaten and temple is about our equal. None of these teams are unbeatable. If we get hot and get cook back anything can happpen.

This is more accurate than the AAC showing it as a 2 PM CST game. ESPN2, for those that set their DVRs, lists college basketball scoreboard from 2-2:30.

The Temple Game 3 thread should be merged into this one. All of our posts about the tournament in one place makes more sense.

Thanks. I caught most of the 2nd half. We played well. Houston has our number hopefully Cook able to play tomorrow.
