⭐⭐⭐ DE Alex Bauman signs today. https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/ ... man-258901

Had offers from Army, Buffalo, Coastal Carolina, Connecticut, Marshall, UMass, Notre Dame, Penn, Rutgers, Wake Forest, and William & Mary.

Rivals doesn't just "give away" ⭐⭐⭐. Long gone are the days of "Buffet Bob" when we went head-to-head with the likes of Mc Neese State, Delta State & Nicholls State for players and lost half of the time!

A good get. The early signing period has been very good to Tulane. We have struggled with the late period forever (even before it was known as the late signing period). The transfer portal has also been pretty good to us. If we could get our NIL up to - reasonable level we would be in a very good spot

We are behind the eight ball fellows:
Grambling State University is making history by being the first university to announce a name, image and likeness (NIL) deal that will benefit all of its scholarship student-athletes. According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the deal will provide an annual income for each scholarship athlete at the HBCU for the NIL.

I hope we first allocate NIL $$$$ to basketball and football, and to baseball.

There’s no reason we can have a $1m annual fund.

He's not leg heavy at all. Not sure what you were watching.

My son and family were here over weekend and we had a Tulane junior babysitting. Turned out she does some work for the athletic dept. she commented about how much the university was spending on new building projects. When I observed that I didn’t see much of that flowing to improve athletics, the conversation drifted off. I should have kept my mouth shut in hopes of finding out some good news.

Like I said before in another thread, I'm not worried about anything because we actually have a good coach and the perception of Tulane is positive now.

I think this coaching hire showed everyone how serious Tulane is becoming.

If we can get anything out of the offensive line, this team should be very fun to watch!

Welcome back home, Alex. Very excited you decided to stay, and add to the legacy you created at the Cotton Bowl.
