Congrats to coach for his Louisiana Baseball Coaches Associates Hall of Fame induction yesterday. Well deserved.

Congrats to him. Surprised he wasn't already in. He was a great hitting coach. He followed Retif and kept building on what Retif started. Retif picked him and he coached us part time in the beginning as he was working at E.J .H.S.. The success he had got Turchin built.

Shame on LBCA for taking this long to induct Joe B... I played against his teams in Jr High, he was the coach at Fisher Jr Hi in Lafitte before becoming the Baseball Coach at East Jeff where I think he won 3 or 4 State Championships...after being hired at Tulane, he would have his PE classes at EJ and then go coach at Tulane... at the time Tulane did not have a full time Baseball Coach, Joe B was the first... before Retif there was Ben Abadie....I was lucky enuff to play on Joe B's Audubon and Mel Ott league teams for several years

Yes. Inducted in 1999.
