I think we did very well with Jim Svoboda. Some complained about his play calling early on, but he seemed to run plays that the players had confidence in running. And nobody can forget the 4th and goal shuffle pass for our 3rd string QB to tie the game at Houston late. That to me was the play call of the year! (I know gbg is going to mention this, so I'll bring it up) Horton threw one heck of a dart to Spears to win that game in OT.

You've inspired me!
Just replayed Horton's first drive and the final 5 minutes. I was mistaken above. The game-winner was a nice throw, but the more impressive pass by the young man from Carthage was hitting Deuce in the end zone coming off the bench. Holgersen is a lousy coach, too.
