It was the greatest game in the history of the world, I tell ya! Maybe a little hyperbole but that’s how I felt when the clock hit :00.

Love how LSU fans are gaslighting everyone into thinking how great this USC team is just because they got outplayed again on a big stage. The fact is, LSU has been an average to above average program since their perfect 2019 season.

Who’s seat is hotter, Kelley’s of Fritz?

If there's a hot seat for either, it would have to be Kelly- Fritz has coached 1 game. Not sure Kelly is on a hot seat, he has multiple 10 plus win seasons & 2 SEC championship game appearances.

LSU has 4 cupcake wins (although UCLA might offer some competition) in their next 4 weekends. Then another test with Ole Miss.

I agree. I would just point out he has 1 SEC CCG appearance.

UCLA seems bad too this year. Their schedule doesn't look tough at all other than Ole miss and Bama at home. I don't think OU is great either but will be a test regardless and that's at home too.

+1. UCLA lost their HC to Ohio St. to be their OC and lost their OC too.

USC's defense is much improved and they have some studs at WR. LSU still has a good team but they aren't likely to be one of the top teams in the SEC.

I didn't see the game but my son said USC actually did look talented and played well. There problem has usually been defense but they held LSU to 20 points and forced them to grind it out.

Very evenly matched talent wise between the 2 teams. Game could have gone either way.. LSU had a couple dumb unsportsmanlike penalties and huge targeting call that really cost them.. I think Kelly thought they could just run the ball down USC's throat but that didn't happen. Both QBs looked very good.

Very sinilar teams. Both lost Heisman winning QB's. Both had terrible defenses. As to QB they both have pretty good ones now. Both fired their DC's and made really good hires to replace them. Both are talented and unfortunately will have good seasons. Can always hope Kelly loses the team and they don’t have a good season.
