Should go up too! Armani Cargo got rated an 88, #13 in LA, but it seems it didn't impact the team ranking yet. Same with Jayden Scott, rated an 88 on his page but not in the team ranking.

With Cargo and Scott added in, the average recruit ranking goes up to 0.8722, which is a very high 3 star. That's on par with mid-level P5 schools.

Extremely impressive showing from Fritz&Co!

Shouldn't recognize patronizing G5 or mid-major rankings.

He has de-committed. We are down to 10 commits and out the top 100 in Rivals rankings. Need toi finish this season strong and get some momentum going here.

Didn't notice Jackson de-committing til just now. Especially tough as getting top area recruits is really the last big barrier to get to the promised land.

So why is a school that's 23-3, defending conference and Cotton Bowl champions, having such a difficult time getting commits? Makes you wonder.

Yeah we had much more commits at this time last year. Really odd.

Style points matter. Beating lousy teams by less than 1 score doesn't inflict confidence in recruits. Our offense was much more dynamic last year, the playcalling has gone stale. Speaking of which, I would hope Slade Nagel goes with Fritz if he leaves, he's not OC and especially not HC material.

The CUSAAC is not attractive to recruits and will be even less attractive when SMU leaves.

There were a lot of good things going on behind the scenes. Class was going to be outstanding. Now with this fiasco, we are going to have a hard time cashing in. Competitive NIL deals were in the works for current players and recruits. Being in the AAC doesn’t hurt us. Negotiating NIL deals is not easy.

Total BS. Other schools have it done by now but Tulane couldn't. No excuses.

Exactly. It’s a disaster for recruiting. And we may find out it’s a disaster for keeping good coaches.

BS, you forget we are on National TV more than some Power 5 schools winning our Conference should not hurt recruiting, winning and national exposure is what counts!!!

We got highly sought after Sumrall and Houston only got Fritz because of his ties to Houston!!!

Dream on gb. We’re living off the momentum from the AAC days—which is fading fast as the CUSAAC weakness takes hold. SMU is already a victim of the CUSAAC dregs.

4 star, top-80 WR out of Texas will decide tomorrow. Interesting that none of the recruiting services list Tulane as had even offered him. Might we be in for a pleasant surprise?

Rivals has him as a low 3 star. We do need help there so hope we get him and he pans out for us.

3 star LB Tah'j Butler from Edna Karr is suddenly predicted to Tulane, currently committed to Georgia Tech. Offers from Ole Miss, Miss State, Houston. Houston offered last week after Fritz joined.

Something tells me he wasn't cut out for the academic rigor of Tulane....

Maybe they'll teach him how to spell the name of the city he'll be going to school in.

OL Tristen Fortenberry out of MS commits to the Wave. Was offered by Ole Miss just 12 days ago and projected to sign with them, and also had offers from Boston College, Memphis, Southern Miss, etc.

Now of course, its a commit, not a signing, and we all know what can happen between Sunday and Wednesday morning.
