Note: with the Oregan St. game out of reach, Sam Houston used their worst pitchers similar to what we did, saving the better arms for the rest of the tournement. They will have good pitchers available for today's elimination game.

Not competely true. After their starter, they used a second starter, then two other pitchers who both had almost 30 innings pitched. Only the last guy Driskell was one of their seldom used guys.

Two of the top three hitters in their lineup hit over .400, and as a team they hit 79 HRs.

Bigger issue is we've already run into two outs on the bases in 3 innings. Same as all season long.

Running themselves out of innings. Just play the game and hit the ball! There is no need to be desperate in the early innings.

If, and this is a big if, if the AD is at the game, we could kill 2 birds with one stone. Fire Ulhman and hire the Bearkats coach.

+1

Bad baseball as usual. He used and abused Carmouche and Castro last weekend so it was predictable that they would have nothing left this weekend.

Regional talent with high school coaching. Not going to do it unfortunately.

Not sure there is regional talent on this club outside of Hebert. Not one of our pitchers could throw for SHSU except for maybe Lombardi out the pen.

Yes. I decided to stay home for this regional but the last time I went to Baton Rouge it was May 2015 and it was exact same bad weather I’ll post a few pictures from that particular day.

Which is why they should have started this game at 10am. I mean, its not like all the nation is sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for the result of a Tulane-Sam Houston State elimination game.

I don’t understand the logic with the delay last night or the late start today. I hate Baton Rouge Regionals this crap happens more than not when they host.
