Update. Good news bad news. Good news is Tulane still accepts NCAA minimums in all sports. So the 19 ACT wasn’t an issue. Bad news I’m told there was a discrepancy with paperwork submitted to admissions.

That's from the Campbell thread.

Campbell didn’t quality because Tulane didn’t approve some of his core classes. Wasn’t a test score. They wanted him to take a summer course or two and Ok St said come on in your fine here.
To put it in simple terms Tulane athletes are not equal to some of our opponents when it comes to admissions.
You claimed he needed a 30 because it was written by a writer in Oklahoma.

Imagine if we had him on the weekends as well. Tulane Tulane’d itself again denying this kid admission. I guess he should have been a basketball or FB player then he’d gotten in.
He’s tearing it up for OSU Micah Owings like.

Due to Tulane’s air-tight admissions office and sky-high test score qualifications, Campbell could no longer attend the school he signed to. He had to find a different home.

Campbell was speechless.

From the article:

The New Orleans-based private school possesses a strict 13% acceptance rate and test score requirements of at least a 30 ACT or 1360 SAT.

That's on page 4 of the thread. Thanks.

No where did you talk about core courses.

Now realizing 18 is the score I'll stand by what I have said and tps has said- Tulane does accept the NCAA minimums. In the long form article which painstakingly covers his efforts to jump from the 14-16 range to a qualifying score he never once says I got to 18 and could have gone to K. St. but I wanted to go to Tulane so I took it tillI got 19. The article here has McClesky making the claim. My information came over 10 years ago from one of the people running our NIL He also clued me and others in on all the new athlete friendly majors . He stands by this and I trust him over McClesky. Common sense tells you Tulane isn't going to come down from requiring in the mid 20's to just one point over the minimum. Ridiculous claim.

My statement is correct. It’s a direct quote from the article. It’s not for athletes it’s for the typical student. Your twisting things here. No way on earth is a 30 required for Athletes that are offered Athletic Scholarships. No need to rehash that dumb Tulane admission decision on Campbell here to divert from your prior misstatements in this thread.

BS. You linked the article back then and never said that the author was wrong and the 30 isn't needed for athletes. But of course you try to back off now. You never said it was about core courses as you now claim here.

Still unsigned but rookies are allowed to participate without a signed contract in the offseason program, which include both the rookie and June minicamps.

6 carries 32 yards, all on the first possession. Nice start, Tyjae. I'm a little concerned about him returning kicks/punts, but they're trying to get him touches.

Man I hope the anger I feel that the Saints and Pats passed on Spears continues and he lights up his current role until he gets starter carries. The TCU RB the Saints took is hurt again.

Yeah I wish the Saints had drafted because he looks clearly better and the guy from TCU looks injury prone.
