Not sure how they enforce that penalty. 1% of the WBB budget? Miami is a private school. Their WBB budget isn't public. And 1%? Big deal if their budget is $5M, that means $50K.

Also, they go after an NIL violation in WBB, because they're SURELY not going to try and tangle with someone's football program. Low hanging fruit. Or just virtue signaling to make it LOOK like they're monitoring things.

Much like the men's tournament, the women's seems wide open. Well, until you play South Carolina! In both: Go Huskies!
