Basketball won’t suffer as much from CUSAAC as FB will. Those top 3 schools are getting it done better than UCF and Cincy.Ruski wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 9:11 am Other notable:

Basketball will suffer. We will become a 1/2 big league tops. The whole NET ranking was introduced as another excuse to keep G5 programs out. Look at this year. Memphis is 23 in NET, beat the #1 team in America to win it's conference, has a record of 26-8, has a SOS of 46, AND IS STILL GIVEN A 8 seed! Oh and what's their reward? To play the #13 team in America in the first round, a team that won 31 games.tpstulane wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 9:16 amBasketball won’t suffer as much from CUSAAC as FB will. The only thing they use now is quad 1 games because its the easiest way in the world to put through 15 loss P5 teams and seed them the same as 30 win G5 teams.
Without the allure of Cincy and Houston, AAC basketball will plummet fast! Gotta start praying Temple fires McKie and both Wichita and Temple return to their historic levels.
Won’t change. You made my point with Memphis. It will remain a 2 bid league.Ruski wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 9:40 amBasketball will suffer. We will become a 1/2 big league tops. Memphis had a #1 Houston in the league this year and was given a shit seed. In the future they will get that 9 seed that FAU got. Or worsetpstulane wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 10:15 amWon’t change. It’s was like that when the women had UCONN in the league. If you’re not a P5 it won’t matter much for basketball. We’ll still get two bids and not highly seeded next year.Ruski wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 10:41 amMemphis had a #1 Houston in the league this year and was given a shit seed. I hope Temple keeps McKie and we get to watch their core 7 grow. I don't know what Temple team you watched, but I thought for a bunch of Sophomores they were pretty entertaining. If they stay together, they'll be very good next year.

In total agreement about the Temple team really good young players and they beat the #1 team, expectations are extremely high apparently.

I think we all hope we are not around long enough to find out how any of these AAC teams pan out.
Boom! Temple fulfills my request!
Mediocrity will not be tolerated in this league! Very good news. A strong Wichita and Temple along with Memphis is absolutely pivotal for the AAC.
UCF beat Florida 67-49 and Cincy beat VT 81-72 in the NIT.

AAC basketball is better than its given credit for.
if I am not mistaken,Jim's Dad was SID for UH... Jim was on the UH Golf team with Fred Couples..for those who play golf, a PGA Player who was cut from that UH team and then played for Houston Baptist was Colin Montgromery.... Jim now lives close to the course at Pebble Beach
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
Cincy beat Hofstra. UCF plays Oregon tonight.

on a side note to that UH team... Nick Faldo signed with UH was on campus for about 10 weeks, got homesick and then turned Pro, without ever playing for UH....golfnut69 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 11:05 amif I am not mistaken,Jim's Dad was SID for UH...
