Always felt that last year was an aberration. Basically, the same team without a 30 day hiatus to start the season. Justice for a great group who aren’t overachieving. Just getting it done

What a great game and win. Fickel & Cinci know how to Win!, that is why they have such a great home streak….. Fickel described this week in press conference, how Tulane in his first game against us, had game won, 1 min left and missed the FG to win from like 15 yds….i thought the whole day again with Cinci not playing well would just be able to Win.
But Wave played to win, great game….. i wonder if that cost Cinci today? Thinking they could just win?, with that streak, they wouldnt let their QB throw down the middle, he threw maybe 4? In the middle of the field?……one was picked off on a tip, he made the QB run a very vanilla limited offense.
Our D was great and had a great adjustment by just creating a pocket and make him sit in it even if he had all day to throw! Great strategy.
Other AAC coaches would of had the 3rd string QB in that game, not sure who that was, but thought we would see him come out and throw all over the field.

We were calm, disciplined and just kept plugging for 60 minutes against a very good team. Just fantastic!! In the modern era, this Tulane team is right there with the 1970, 1973, 1979 and 1998 teams---teams that reinvigorated the Tulane fan base. Winning Matters--always has and always will.

Tulane is the University of Louisiana
Add the 1970 team to that list.HoustonWave wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 10:05 am We were calm, disciplined and just kept plugging for 60 minutes against a very good team. Just fantastic!! I was out there in the crowd. Saw people wearing more Tulane gear than LSU for the first time in years.
Stadiums get old, winning never does.

We still might get a rematch with Cincy after all. USF has come back, and its now 31-29 UCF starting the 4th. Plumlee got hurt at some point near the end of the first half and hasn't been back in since.

It looks like we will have to bash Plumlees balls next week. 46-39
If a hamstring Plumlee might not be ready to play on Saturday?Dave breslin wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 9:33 pm It looks like we will have to bash Plumlees balls next week. 46-39

So does the LSU loss tee them up as a possible Cotton Bowl opponent rather than Tennessee?

They will likely go Sugar Bowl but Cotton not ruled out for them.HoustonWave wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 9:44 pm So does the LSU loss tee them up as a possible Cotton Bowl opponent rather than Tennessee?

How is LSU going to end up in the Sugar? They're 9-3, behind 10-2 Alabama and 10-2 Tennessee, and LSU will lose to GA next week. So they'll be 9-4. No way LSU gets one of those spots.winwave wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 9:48 pmThey will likely go Sugar Bowl but Cotton not ruled out for them.HoustonWave wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 9:44 pm So does the LSU loss tee them up as a possible Cotton Bowl opponent rather than Tennessee?

Seems to me Alabama goes to Orange, Sugar should prefer Tennessee to LSU. Tennessee travels well. At that point, why would the Cotton take a 4 loss LSU team over a Penn State, for example?
