Only 15 teams in all of college football between us and the college football playoff.
"That mantra is the only consistent thing that never needs to ever change for the rest of this program’s existence because that is all that matters & as long as that keeps occurring, everything will handle itself" -- Nick Anderson
The program got great exposure during this program with not only them talking about the Wave being the highest ranked G5 team, but also mentioning how they would qualify in a 12 team playoff, as well as showing their ranking throughout the night, and at the end also projecting them in the Cotton Bowl against USC.

If the 12 team playoff were in affect and today's rankings were the final ones, we would be the 12th seed, playing Georgia, the 5 seed for the right to play TCU, the 4 seed. The Athletic has a great article about how it would all shake out.

No, it didn't. You're wrong, read the article. The expanded CFP formula differs from the current one, Tennessee would get the SEC bye, Georgia would be the 5 seed, Michigan the 6th. TCU would be the 4 seed. It's not as simple as taking the CFP rankings and filling in the brackets, the highest ranked Conference winners get a bye, no conference can get two into the top 4 seeds.

We will beat Michigan than Oregon than Alabama. Easy peasy. Now, back to my Bloody Mary breakfast. .

How LSU or Tennesse gets to the CFP. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb ... eeffaaab17
Sports Illustrated, with Tennessee’s loss on Saturday, is now projecting Tulane versus LSWho in the Cotton Bowl. https://www.si.com/.amp/college/2022/11 ... -years-six
Hope not. Here’s why. Imagine traveling and spending a bunch of money for few days to go see the Wave and you’re out numbered 20 to 1 on the streets of Arlington/Dallas by LSU fans. You can best believe they will be giving you hell all week in hotels, restaurants etc. I’d rather enjoy this bowl experience without the harassment. Bring on Southern Cal.Wave755 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 7:43 am Sports Illustrated, with Tennessee’s loss on Saturday, is now projecting Tulane versus LSWho in the Cotton Bowl. https://www.si.com/.amp/college/2022/11 ... -years-six

The Cotton Bowl will be lobbying for lsu, simply for the reasons you have lisited, that you would rather have sc..... first Tulane needs to go 1-0 this week or it is on to the Indy Bowltpstulane wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 8:10 amHope not. Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
Absolutely. But for once I’m hoping they stay in La for the Sugar and the 11am Dec 31 KO lol.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 8:53 amThe Cotton Bowl will be lobbying for lsu, simply for the reasons you have lisited, that you would rather have sc..... first Tulane needs to go 1-0 this week or it is on to the Indy Bowltpstulane wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 8:10 amHope not. I am hopeful Tulane can win it's next two games, and let the bowl krap work itself out, most schools, eligible for New Years day games have at least two more games to play..SC still has ND and Oregon to play....I may be mistaken, but the only NY6 bowl a G5 can go to is the Cotton....tpstulane wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:13 amAbsolutely. Jerry Palm of CBS has Cincinnati & Tennesse in the Cotton Bowl, and LSU in the Sugar Bowl v. K-State. Jerry apparently thinks the Wave will lose on Friday to the Bearcats. https://www.cbssports.com/college-footb ... -shuffles/
We might have to beat Cincy twice back to back. That’s tough. Or they may need to beat us twice. I don’t really like how that back to back came about.Wave755 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 10:22 am Jerry Palm of CBS has Cincinnati & Tennesse in the Cotton Bowl, and LSU in the Sugar Bowl v. K-State. I rather beat UC and then host UCF at home with a chance to revenge the first game loss.
