Tulane is favored by 3.5. Nevada went 13-18,6-12 last season. They are 4-0 against an even worse schedule than ours. Steve Alford trying to pad the record to justify his 10 year contract. We should win this game .

Refs have been whistle happy- Cross, Holloway and McGee have three fouls . Coleman and Pope have 2.

Tulane loses 75-66. No Cook and severe foul trouble thanks to some really bad refs.

Had to win this tournament to gain legitimacy IMO. Played a bad 2nd half. Look winded per Corey. You can’t expect much when you schedule weak teams to build up your wins. A good team handles a team like Nevada. We won’t be playing LSU for the title now. Blown opportunity today.

I would not say that this game is the pivot point of legitimacy. It was a ridiculously officiated game with 47 fouls called. Think how preposterous that is to call 47 fouls in 40 minutes. Hopefully they can get out of there with only 1 loss.

Yes the refs were whistle happy. But in spite of that we still led at half. We just stunk it up in the last 6 minutes. Pivot point because now we won’t play any RPI non-Conf worthy game. A potential win over LSU would carry some weight later in the year. Now that’s out. No no sugarcoating this one. Very disappointing losing the opener. Oh well.

Zone defense which kills rebounding and standing around the 3 pt line jacking up 3s are the staples of a Hunter coached team.
