I suspected his release was coming. When his name popped up as someone being highly interested in our job I knew something wasn’t right. He complained about the difficulty of recruiting to Tulane back then as his reason for leaving before Pierce left. No thanks on Allen for that reason alone. Let’s see where he lands. I wish him good luck.

At least this one believes he can recruit at Tulane which gives him a chance. So out of those two he was clearly the better choice.

2021 D-1 asst of the year then fired in 2022. Methinks something is rotten in Austin. Was his behavior an issue or was Pierce mad he was looking for a head coaching job instead of preparing his staff in the postseason or at the expense of recruiting? Gotta be something more than just the pitchers' results.
