Students to vote for or against on November 9, 2022 again.
Last time they held a vote was May 2009 and it got voted down 1,400 to 1,250.

Their AD was on Fourth Down on 4. He talked as if he had donors lined up to build a stadium.

Not to worry , we once had , as we all know , our next door neighbor Loyola playing in a stadium of their own MERE YARDS FROM OURS .

Won’t be long now when UNO passes us up in FB. Vote coming early November.

“If it’s 51% (approval), we have football,” Duncan said.

During his presentation, Duncan unveiled architectural renderings of a 20,000-seat, open-air stadium from Garcia Architecture. UNO officials have identified a 100-acre tract of open land between Maestri Field and Lakeshore Drive as a potential stadium site on the school’s campus.

Jeff Duncan article. Interesting that UNO has plans to build a stadium even if the vote fails.

No football at UNO. Always thought it was a long shot and didn’t think that $300 per student per semester was going to cover costs

Hire this guy to replace water boy Troy. I love the ambition and commitment Duncan is showing. We need someone more Danny White and less Rick Dickson than TD.

They brought it back at some point and played at Gormley. They claimed to have won the NC one year.
