Did not want to waste time with the deep Quarterback room for the Wave. Haggard is already being red shirted and two is a crowd.

I would've agreed until I saw that he's the #1 javelin thrower in the country. I don't know much about college track and field, but I would think that being the nation's #1 in an event would merit a scholarship offer.

If he ends up playing football there they have to put him on a football scholarship. He earned his track scholarship.

He broke the state record yesterday with a throw of 228-10
The previous record was 212-3. He’s the real deal with the javelin.
Funny thing is he never picked up a javelin until recently. He was looking for something to do to keep him busy without Spring FB.

Just saw where he currently holds the longest throw in the nation now with that performance in the state championships.

My neighbor in Sharp freshman year, Ed O'Sullivan, a non-schollie engineering student, competed in javelin and decathlon. At the Metro Conference championships, Nolan Franz parachutes in and wins the javelin with his only throw of the year. LOL

Ed also holds the second-highest mark for Tulane pole vault.

Not for Ed, he competed all season and Franz basically took one throw.
