They had/have lots of talent they also have the Lawson brothers (brothers of Lawson we had and more highly touted) who never really got a chance to play.

If recruits think that sanctions are coming, they may opt to play it safe by going somewhere else.

With your negatism are you a fan!!! lst winning tradition takes years, 2nd facilities take years, 3rd other programs do it with the same or less!!!

Facts out of 353 College Basketball Programs Tulane Basketball Budget is rated 96. Spending almost 5 million a year on Men's Basketball. Many teams with lower budgets are more successful than the Wave not always about money!!! But school is spending the money time for Donations and fan support to help fund facilities!!!

You asked the question. I gave you the answer.

Here's a hint why not just give the 2 schools dollar amounts and ranking rather than all 363 teams.

There are several A10 teams that are small private schools with admissions standards with lower budgets that are much better then us. And that’s infuriating and perplexing - example Richmond or Davidson. Also there’s no reason our Budget shouldn’t ATLEAST equal tulsas

Richmond has a pretty new practice facility and an updated arena that seats 7,200. Davidson has a practice facility and an arena that seats 5,300. No one is mistaking those for a HS gym.

Yep spot on. What’s the best size for Tulane ? 6k ? 7k?

Hopefully we retain our team and the new transfer Percy helps us start strong next year and we make the ncaa tourney in front of good crowds. At that point there would be strong pressure & the will to expand (my optimism & green tinted glasses are showing)

I would say 6k would do it. That would almost double the current seating capacity. No one would mistake that for a HS gym.

As to your second paragraph that's how it should work. Perry filled it and wanted a new arena. Tulane didn't do it and it stopped being filled because they didn't strike while the iron was hot. Will they learn from that mistake? Hopefully Hunter makes it so we find out.

With the changes around it on campus I doubt it could be done in any meaningful way.

It really seems like adding 2k seats (it’s at 4,100 seats ?) really shouldn’t be some Herculean task, obviously with the administration that’s a major question mark.

Bates went nuts last night for Mich St. Memphis really lost a good one there.
29 straight points and 43 total.
