No he didn’t, but he basically looked at me like I was crazy when I told him, IN PERSON, that I didn’t like the hire!

Even if Graff agreed with you he couldn’t really say so. He had to work with Jewett.

Sad. Here were are facing a 10-12-1 Grand Canyon team’s Sunday starter and we have 4 hits an 0 runs after 6 complete innings.

I went to almost every home game during Jones tenure, not so much since. Listening to radio today, AA sounds panicked and continuously making excuses for the performance while Jewett gets ejected in first yesterday and is pulling players left and right. Maybe TJ is beginning to feel the heat. This season is essentially over , will Dannen have him finish season? I think so, he’s not that aggressive and it would appear like an admission of judgment on his part if he pulls plug. But it all sounds very ugly

I am in disbelief, this team should've taken at least 2 of 3 in Starkville and now this. He's lost the team, they don't believe, total lack of confidence & buy-in.

They hadn’t been the same since. Just awful.

Jewett is a zero-tool coach---can't coach, can't lead, can't talk.

I’d forgive TD for all prior fuckups

But I have to ask, does Dannen even care about the baseball program?

Are they still slapping logos on the dugout after wins? Gotta be real hollow ceremony these days.

I was waiting for the season to end-hoping that the crazy beginning would be straightened out. But, as much as I feared- this is a gastronomic cramp watching this. I was a believer that Jewett’s positive talk was going to keep tulane a baseball power. I was fooled. Nice guy you know but, you know, it’s not working you know. It’s still not as bad as CJ/Price abortion show. But you know it’s getting close Andy-where are you?

He’s definitely made the baseball job less attractive.

The players had trouble concentrating this weekend...they will still trying to absorb all of the info from Sex Education week, and how to use it
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

No he really doesn't. Then again I'm not sure he is paid to bring winners to Tulane.

He might be a small part of it but the scholarship and transfer rules were the real determinants of Tulane’s fall from Grace in college baseball. Not coming back anytime soon either with Tulane’s high tuition and only partial scholarships allowed.

He beats Tulane but so does everyone else. UNO included. Matt hasn’t been to a Regional since 2017.
I’d go with Andy first. He has the higher upside.

I may as well, but TU has this higher than though POV, not sure Andy can get through the Tulane bubble.

Good point. He’s only a Tulane graduate and grew up bleeding green. He only was an New York Yankee and MLB scout etc. His baseball knowledge is superior to most out there that we’d be considering hiring. He’d bring back Tulane baseball fans to the park. He’d raise our BA 50 points with the same kids.
His Holy Cross team just knocked off previously unbeaten Jesuit who was 18-0 before suffering their first defeat of the season.
His off the field issues are ancient history. If Tulane misses out on him again shame on them. He’ll end going somewhere and will beat our ass and we’ll wonder why we got Tulane’d again.
