No fans at this point.
Part of today’s email.
The only decision to this point is that season tickets will not be available for the 2021 Tulane Baseball Season. We are hopeful that we will at some point during the season have a limited number of single game tickets available. 2020 season ticket holders and Green Wave Club members will have the first right to purchase any available tickets based on priority point order.

Once more information is available and our schedule becomes finalized, we plan to connect back with you to further communicate our plans for the upcoming season.

BIG NEWS EVERYONE! BASEBALL IS BACK AND IS GOING TO BE PLAYED NEXT YEAR!

The American Conference today just approved a plan for baseball. The American Athletic directors approved their 2021 college baseball schedule structure:

* 56 games
* 32 conference games (up from 24)
* 4-game series (still three total days, DH on Sat.)
* Will try to utilize #MLB extra-inning rules
* No midweeks after conf begins.

That would mean 24 non-conference games! Will keep everyone up to date with the schedule! #RollWave

Eeww. MLB Extra Inning rules. One of the worst of all the rules MLB has ever installed.

I pray that those horrible extra innings rules were a one year thing. Having them in the college game, where runs are much easier to come by, is a big mistake and cheapens an extra innings win.

How about Tulane supplying all season ticket holders with FREE TV access to all home games!

I really want to watch Brandon Olthoff, very happy he didn’t go pro and we can watch him again (Hopefully for a full season). If he stays healthy he’s going to have a special season

When will a 2021 Baseball schedule be published? I am sure that there are a number of COVID issues affecting the schedule. In mid December I read an article related to the AAC approving a conference schedule but I am interested in what full schedule will look like and whether fans will be allowed to attend. Thanks for any replies. Roll Wave.

I believe fans will be allowed in. It will likely be in the few hundreds. No seating down low beneath the walkway. No word on when the full schedule will be released. The conference series' will be 4 games with DH's on Saturday's. No midweek games once conference play starts.

Family of the players, staff and scouts that’s it for now. Maybe at some point more than that.

That's in effect for three weeks. We are probably 5 weeks from the start of the season. Have to hope the numbers change for the better.

Definitely with how much of a snooze fest basketball has been both with Tulane and the Pelicans.

Me too. Hopefully by football season we will be unmasked and back to normal. I would hope sooner, but don't think it's realistic for the college baseball season.
