Our DB are too small and too slow .

Great team effort ; if we could have prevented just one big play we gave up we'd have won notwithstanding .

No moral victories. This program is falling off a cliff in the AAC. Need to find an upgrade fast. Fritz isn’t good enough to take us further than average.

Yes. Never expected this. Going back to last season we finished the year 1-5 in conference play. So that’s 1-8 in the last 9. That’s awful in year 5.

Problem is, we aren’t average in our conference. We are 0-3. Last year 3-5.

Problem is, we aren’t average in our conference. We are 0-3. Last year 3-5. And UConn isn’t in the league anymore.

Yup! You’re right! We’re built to succeed in C-USA and Sun Belt in year 5. Disgraceful.

Pratt's not the solution this year, but he's the best we have unfortunately. At best this team will be 5-6 this year and no bowl game.

I had very little interest in this game. Had no expectations whatsoever. But they got me excited and still blew it in the end. Fritz has brought this team from bad to mediocre which is an accomplishment, but he's peaked. Unfortunately that won't change, but he has a chance to make changes. Get rid of Curtis and overhaul the defense. It's not good enough to compete in the AAC. Offensively, keep recruiting and hope that Pratt develops. Otherwise, this program will suck.

Michael Pratt is our next great quarterback. And, I was there for Roch Hontas’ freshman season and he too threw a few interceptions.

Tulane could still make a bowl game if a bowl picks us since there is no minimum win requirement. That’s both good news and sad news.

Poor arm tackling, db's sloppy do not know how to play angles to tackle after the catch. Played too far back letting receivers catch the ball then can't tackle. Either they don't look back or they can't tackle,

We seem to have , finally , found a QB that will be around for three or four more years . And we might have a second high potential signed in a few months .

Would we have won tonight with Spears and Claybrook healthy ?

We now need to sign DB and DE who are big , agile and strong .

Fritz shopped for another team after last season. He didn’t make the cut. So Tulane gives him a new contract and he proves why those other teams passed on him. He’s not a Division 1 coach anywhere other than Tulane.

Poor move by TD. Should never panic. Believe in yourself and find the next best coach out there. Now WF has enough security to take it easy especially knowing he won't get a P5 offer anywhere.

Look. When Fritz was hired, Mike Yurcich was passed over. Yurcich subsequently went to Ohio State and now he’s at Texas. However, he’s still never had a HC job, and, in the extremely unlikely event that Fritz was released, Yurcich might be worth considering again.

Let’s grade this. First, congrats for keeping the score close to a ranked team. Second, taking congratulations for losing is for losers. Going 0-5 against the only program to get the death penalty is a sign that we have a long way to go. I give Pratt an A for doing well with an o line that grades out at D. As for defense , is there a grade of G( it’s behind F). J Johnson has stuffed the middle but the other d line hasn’t lived up to the preseason hype. As for the LBs-ok-grade c+. As for the DBs-incomplete-hard to grade someone who isn’t there. Coaching-well,0-5 against smu and a record in the AAC that deserves a polyp gives a grade of ??? Get it done!!! And someone tell those announcers how to pronounce New Orleans. Too much Hollywood

In other words, they aren’t well coached. But they can send messages of social justice when coached to do so.

They played without the best RB and WR so that’s a wash.

Exactly Oakleaf. He’d leave in a nanosecond if given the opportunity. But that won’t happen cuz we’ve crapped the bed in three nationally televised games this year.—nobody is going to hire him. He will never live the Navy game down. That game will be on his tombstone. I’n the meantime, Dannen keeps handing out extensions like candy.

Frustrating season. We should be no less than 4-1 at this point.
