Other than a couple great scrambles, Howard has been a monumental disappointment. Hopes for a breakout season seem premature.

Bad in all 3 phases. Extremely sloppy FB.

Has the broadcast changed stations? A corn joke tournament at halftime? Really?

It’s back on ESPN 2.

Everyone relax. We played terribly in all 3 phases in our first game and down 14-6. Just take a deep breath.

Very embarrassing..... watching at my friends parents house who are diehard LSU fans. Is CJ back in control?

Our d line is inept. When combined with a secondary that is incapable of credibly **SHOWING** cover zero - we're fucking doomed. There's no point in disguising intentions when you're incapable of executing the very coverage you're "threatening".

Pressure is getting there. The secondary is getting cooked in coverage. They can't run the ball consistently, so expect more passes coming in the 2nd half.

The other channel has collegiate cornhole championship. More exciting than this fiasco. When I was in school cornholing meant something else. I hope we wake up for the second half!!!

I think we’ll see some freshmen DB’s moving up...maybe in this game.

Curtis needs to be let go.

I guesss we roll with Howard, but the plan should be for Pratt to take over ASAP (after the bye ?). Otherwise- can Pratt really be worse ? My god I wish we had their juco champ qb. He has this insane stat where I believe he has only lost 1 time in his entire high school and college career

Ground and pound until we get a QB. This is the most positive I can be.
I thought Ibettia won the back up role.
At this point it is Pratt.

No DBs playing well but if they can’t get 36 off the field their talent sucks.

Does anyone here remember when our db's, lb's & dl were in complete synch.
Defensively, I'll take the Curtis Johnson staff of Kwahn Drake, Rollins & Washington.
These guys do not know shit. Defensive players & coaches.

We’re going to get our asses handed to us in AAC play. This team is not ready to play.—looks like the FIU fiasco four years ago.

Once again our vaunted DEs can’t seal the corners.

Embarrassing, truly embarrassing. And, they are killing us with the outside runs. This game is CJ ugly.

Our DC is going to keep bring extra defenders for pressure and leave our secondary, who is not good, in the worst possible situation.

We need to score here or this could become downhill Steamrolling for So Bama.

Wasn’t it Wave97 that said he had a “bad feeling” about this game.?

Hopefully, it will be at least another 6 win season, however, South Alabama was expected to be one of the virtually guaranteed wins. Tulane losing this one, especially by multiple scores, would put the USM game in some level of doubt.

Apologies to WaveQB. I thought he was nuts for picking USA.

Well, here we are again.
