Hi all, we have our new podcast out with the Temple site Owls' 247:
Few interesting notes from that discussion:
(1) Tulane is now up to a 6 point favorite in this one, and it's only the 4th time the Wave has been an AAC road favorite in league history
(2) Yes, Temple is a solid team to get to 6 wins under a first year coach. The teams that have been able to roll Temple have done so on the ground. Their run defense is solid (#45 in YPC) but both Buffalo and UCF were able to challenge the Temple D and wore them down.
(3) Temple's offense is the likely weakness, and they've had struggles finding an offensive identity if they are not able to run effectively early on
Should be a good one. I think Vegas is right for the Tulane lean

I haven't had time to listen to the podcast, unfortunately. For those that don't know, the 1935 Sugar Bowl was the first ever, and Tulane hosted Temple. Tulane was 9-1, Temple 7-0-2. After falling behind 14-0, Tulane overcame the Owls and beat Temple 20-14.
