First it fails during construction, which is pathetic and largely unprecedented.
Now they cannot just take the crane’s down successfully. This city is an embarrassment.
Fyi, i am way uptown and could hear the explosion.
Sure this will have no effect on real estate and tourism.
At least they made sure to do it just before a Saints game.

curious what else they'll have to do. they cancelled all the patients who were supposed to go to tulane cancer clinic on Friday, and a lot scheduled early in the week just didn't show. Think that and the med student dorms are the only parts of downtown campus in the buffer zone. Thankfully they didn't have to evacuate the hospital itself, but it took some patients getting chemo/radiation off their schedules.
