This needed to be bumped . For those that don’t watch volleyball or think they don’t like volleyball. Just watch this amazing clip.
ya not going to find many rallies like that one anywhere !!!!...great play from both teams, but the best team got the point.....

The video was named the #1 play of the week by the NCAA today.
Great pub for Tulane whipping the Tigers. Been viewed over 30,000x so far.

I couldn’t be at last nights game vs Memphis but will be at SMU Sunday.
WOW! What a close win. The box score shows Tulane drilled them the 1st 2 sets. The Memphis came back and won 2 close sets. Tulane held a lead all of the 5th set and pulled off the 16-14 win. Memphis was 12-1 and has really improved under their 2nd year coach. Looks like everyone played well for Tulane except for the 2 rightsides. Hopefully it was just an off night for them 2. Hansel and Burcescu.

SMU was upset by Houston 14-16 in the 5th!! They are going to be tough Sunday. The AAC is easily the most complete and toughest top to bottom than it has ever been. Going to be a lot of close matches!!

Heard the crowd was nice and loud. Might have been the difference in a 16-14 win! Hope it keeps growing!!! The team will need it if they want to win the AAC.

Big WIN over SMU!!
12-3 and 2-0 in conference.
Beat both division teams.
SMU beat TCU so that’s a great rpi win.
Tulane is just inside the Top 50.

Great response by Tulane Volleyball.
Swept UCONN on the road. And they did it without 2 of their best players Heidelberg and Hansel. Hope they aren’t out too long.
What a great job by this team!

Huge weekend for Volleyball playing Tulsa Friday who they are tied for 2nd with. Then Wichita State in sunday.
From the press conference/twitter it doesn’t sound like the team has all the starters back yet. This is one tough team. Hope they pull it out on the road.

WHAT a courageous WIN.
Tulane down 0-2 on the road at Wichita State playing without Heidelberg and Hansel and they come back and win in 5. 3-2 sets. Huge win.
Now home this week against #1 Cinci in Friday. Hopefully everyone is back.

The game today was on Cox Sports, for anyone who has that. It was quite exciting to watch them fight back, but frustrating as hell to see so many errors, especially returning serves.

Agree that’s why Heidelberg is so crucial to this team. She’s the one usually passing and is the best defender at her position in the AAC.
Looks like Doyle started but really struggled then they put in freshmen Stefanov. Who did ok. With Heidelberg and Hanson this teams a contender. But take the 2 better players off from any team and they become beatable.

VB gets the biggest win of the year beating Cincinnati 3-0. Cinci is #1 in the AAC. They have the best player in the nation Jordan Thompson. Tulane shut her down! She won a gold medal this summer with the Olympic team and no one could stop her!!!!

This puts Tulane back in the race for the AAC title and NCAA bid.

The injuries have obviously hurt this team.
But one thing I don't understand is why they didn't play a tougher ooc schedule (necessary to make the NCAAs as an at large), especially with the outlook this team had.

They did. Not sure what you are looking at. They beat LSU and Ohio State. Lost a 5 setter by 2 points to Ole Miss who is having their best season ever. And lost a close one to Western Kentucky who is 20-1.
This time last year the team was 13-7. 3-4 in AAC. This year they are 15-5. And 5-2 in AAC.
This win has them in the ncaa picture.

Tulane sweeps USF 3-0. Now 16-6 on the season. But even bigger news is that Erika Hansel made her return!! She has been out for a while. She had 8 kills and a great Hit % in her first game back. This is huge news. The team is back to having all the starters going. Just in time for the 2nd round of conference. 6-3 in conference so far. Big match va UCF on Sunday.

Big news updates for volleyball.
Incoming freshman for 2020 Anna Davis was named HS All American. Puts her as one of the top 40 players in the country. Big time get.

Tulane had a big win vs Tulsa last Sunday. Now they play #1 Houston on Friday. Tulane is 2 games out of first so this is big. Too bad Heidelberg is injured. She’s makes a big difference.

Sunday they play Temple which Is also senior day. Looks like making the conference tourney is a lock. If they can get Heidelberg back they could make a major run.

Yes injuries has been the issue but it is very impressive The team is 17-7 at the point and right in the race. Injuries to Hansel and Heidelberg, who were 2 of the most feared players in the AAC, has kept the team from being #1 in the league. Although they still beat the best team Cinci this year. Their only loss.

NCAA hopes. 1st win the tourney and get the auto bid. For an at large, the team is 70 rpi right now with 4 matches left and then the tourney. If they win out and lose in the conference finals they get an at large bid.

If this team didn’t have the injuries I predict they would be around 25-30 rpi Especially after beating Cinci.

WOW! Tulane beats 1st place Houston on the road!!! Huge win. Now they are 1 game out of 1st place.

What’s crazy is the stud Libero McHugh played as a hitter for the 1st time in her career and had 8 kills and 6 aces. She’s only 5-5 at most. But a beast of a competitor.

Incredible job by this coaching staff!!!

Tulane defeats a scrappy Temple team 3 sets to 1 in what will hopefully be a prelude to this weekend's football matchup.

Today was senior day as Tulane honored 3 young women who were playing their last regular season game at home. Best of look in the future to them!
