They actually held their own and lost 38-28. He's a good coach. He's going to do well there. For the worriers he is one to keep an eye on if both Fritz and Hall leave.

Be proactive, being reactive is for losers..
Tulane Class of 1981
Tulane Class of 1981
We may have distributed 16,000 tickets but had less than 5,000 there.

“Tickets distributed,” ULALA had no where close to 22,000 bodies in those seats. And, Napier caught MSU in a “state of chaos” with 10 MSU players suspended for the game for the MSU cheating scandal. MSU probably had less than 7,500 fans at the game. And, ULALA a/k/a “Louisiana” per the Daily Advertiser did all kinds of “ticket giveaways” toward the end of the week to boost the attendance number. And, per the Daily Advertiser, MSU refused to play in Lafayette for the “home and home” now ended and that is the reason the game was instead played at the Dome.tpstulane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 8:53 amGame time 22,000 meanwhile we only drew 16,000 on campus.Wave755 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 1:53 pm As of today per the Daily Advertiser only about 15,000 tickets sold. https://www.theadvertiser.com/story/spo ... 156610001/
And, the game result tells us if Tulane had played MSU on Saturday with 10 MSU players under suspension, the game would have been a rout in favor of our Wave.

By the way, the Lafayette Daily Advertiser did an article after the game saying ULALA accounted for only about 7,000 of the tickets sold.tpstulane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 8:53 amGame time 22,000 meanwhile we only drew 16,000 on campus.Wave755 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 1:53 pm As of today per the Daily Advertiser only about 15,000 tickets sold. https://www.theadvertiser.com/story/spo ... 156610001/
