After the win, "Green Wave" chants rained down from the crowd, something Koepfer grew accustomed to at collegiate matches before his 2016 graduation.

The $165,000 he will collect for making Round 3 is more than half of his previous total career earnings of $332,732.

The Dominator will also be solidly into the top 100 world rankings as a result of last night's win.

Could Dominik be our next Top 10 TU international tennis star in the making like Linda Touro? Moving on up to Round 3!

Tuero. Linda Tuero. And I think her sister Jennifer was once the tennis coach at Tulane.

Dom plays the #17 seed, Basilasvilli (sp?) tonight. On paper, the Georgian (country) should end Dom's run. Hopefully, not.

Basilashvili is playing on short rest after his last match was delayed a day...

Moves to the 4th round, vs #23. If he wins there, most likely would face Roger Federer in the quarterfinals.

HUGE WIN!!!

For him to win 3x in the US Open is going to open doors, sponsorship opps, and obviously move his ranking way up and earn him a big paycheck for the tournament.

WAY TO GO DOMINATOR!

The Dominator plays at 5 EDT today versus Daniil Medvedev. It should be on ESPN, we'll see. He's playing in the stadium, which probably means in front of the biggest crowd of his life.

The Dominator is on ESPN live right now. Much more interesting than the cat fight with winwave, which I've already conceded due to lack of my interest.

He just won the first set against the #5 seed. Medvedev is a top 10 ranked player in the world. 6-3 Dominik!

Just started watching on ESPN3 right now. Pretty entertaining. Nice seeing Tulane fans in the crowd.
