The team avg is 93% tuition coverage.
So 7% of tuition is all you need to come up with to play baseball at Vandy.
Be proactive, being reactive is for losers..

The total amount of cost of attendance covered for a Vanderbilt scholarship baseball player that gets the minimum baseball scholarship allowed (33%) plus the 60% that all Vandy students get.

So if tuition is $60,000 X (1 - 0.93) = $4,200... is what the avg Vanderbilt baseball player would be asked to pay out of pocket after baseball scholarship and other funds provided by the university.
Tough to compete with when you can get a Vandy degree for less than $5K a year.
They should be in the CWS finals every year with that setup.

Hmm🤔, and I wonder if Rice will now soon return to baseball prominence?

"Sep. 20, 2018-Rice University Will Offer Free Tuition To Families Earning Less Than $130,000. ... Students with family incomes of $65,000 or less will receive free tuition plus grants covering the full cost of room, board and fees. The plan will take effect in the fall of 2019."

If I remember correctly,Rice offered a similar program from 1950 until 1970....Jess Nealy's Fightin' Owl football team was very competitive back in da day

Yep, didn't Rice pretty much begin as a tuition free university?🤔
